What's a Hydrosol? Pure Plant Magic My Friend. It's an aromatic water created as a natural by-product when the leaves, fruits, barks, roots, and flowers of plants are distilled to produce essential oils. They share many of the same properties as essential oils and the plants they were created from, but they are much less concentrated and tend to have a gentler, more subtle aroma.  When using a hydrosol you get the skin supporting benefits and delicious floral aroma of an essential oil that can be used directly on the skin without dilution.

Juniper Hydrosol Benefits:

Purifying and Toning: Juniper hydrosol can help in purifying and toning the skin. Its natural astringent properties make it excellent for reducing the appearance of pores and firming the skin.

Balancing Oil Production: It's particularly beneficial for oily or acne-prone skin types as it helps balance sebum production, potentially reducing acne outbreaks.

Soothing Irritation: Juniper hydrosol has soothing properties that can calm irritated skin, making it suitable for use after shaving or on skin affected by conditions like eczema or psoriasis.

Antioxidant Protection: Rich in antioxidants, it helps protect the skin from environmental stressors, such as pollution and UV radiation, which can lead to premature aging.

Detoxification: Juniper is traditionally known for its detoxifying properties. When used in baths or compresses, juniper hydrosol can help support the body's natural detoxification processes, potentially aiding in the relief of water retention and the promotion of healthy kidney function.

Antimicrobial Properties: It possesses natural antimicrobial and antifungal properties, making it a good choice for homemade cleaning solutions or as a spray to freshen and purify the air.

Muscle and Joint Pain: Juniper hydrosol can be used in compresses or added to bathwater to help soothe sore muscles and joints, thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties

Stress Relief: The scent of juniper hydrosol is grounding and can help reduce stress and anxiety when used in aromatherapy. It promotes relaxation and can aid in improving sleep quality.

Energizing Effects: Its crisp, clean scent can also be invigorating and may help to boost energy levels and mental clarity, making it a great choice for a mid-day refresh.

Note: please use within 6 months to ensure freshness or alternatively store in fridge up to one year.

It's important to note that while juniper hydrosol has many potential benefits, individuals with specific skin or health concerns should consult with a healthcare provider or dermatologist before incorporating it into their routine. Also, make sure to perform a patch test before using any new skincare product to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions.

What is a PET Bottle? PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, a type of polyester. It's a plastic resin and the most common type of polymer used in the production of plastic bottles and containers for packaging foods and beverages, especially water and soft drinks.

PET is favored for its strength, thermo-stability, transparency, and being lightweight. Additionally, PET is recognized for its safety and recyclability, which makes it a preferred choice for single-use and reusable bottles. Its recycling code is "1", which you can often find within the recycling symbol on the bottom of PET bottles
