Pottery Mug

I will forever be a sucker for a pottery. It speaks to me.

Possibly it's the fact I can't make a mug on the wheel for the life of me or maybe its because no machine alone can create such art. 

My eyes light up when I find one at a thrift store or garage sale still in perfect shape like this....waiting for its first chip..... and so the next chapter begins.

This is a nice tall 16oz cup.
