Lavender Hydrosol
Welcome to the 2026 Lavender Harvest. The scent of fresh-cut lavender now drifts through the apothecary as another season is carefully gathered and distilled. Cool, floral, and quietly restorative, this years harvest captures a small piece of summer in bloom.
Handcrafted in Alberta and steam distilled in a traditional copper alembic using fresh lavender grown in British Columbia. Housed in a 118 ml amber glass bottle to help protect the delicate botanical waters and naturally occurring volatile oils from light, keeping them fresh for as long as possible.
What’s a Hydrosol? Pure plant magic, my friend. It’s the aromatic water created as a natural byproduct when the leaves, fruits, barks, roots, and flowers of plants are distilled to produce essential oils. Hydrosols share many of the same properties as essential oils and the plants they come from, but they are much less concentrated and have a gentler, more subtle aroma. When using a hydrosol, you receive the skin-supporting benefits and delicate floral aroma of an essential oil, ready to use directly on the skin without dilution.

Winter Note: During the colder months, hydrosols are shipped in BPA-free plastic bottles to prevent breakage and protect the integrity of the blend. We recommend transferring your hydrosol to the provided glass bottle upon arrival for continued storage.
