Under Venus Hydrosol
It smells like you’ve crushed a handful of fragrant leaves between your palms in the height of summer.
Rose Geranium · Lemon Verbena · Tulsi Hydrosol.
Three varieties of rose geranium, lemon geranium, lemon verbena and a small gathering of Tulsi went into the still, and what came through is almost delicious. Lush and rosy, bright with lemon, green around the edges, with that beautiful warm herbal note that only Tulsi seems to bring.
Under Venus was inspired by the approaching Libra season, traditionally ruled by Venus, and associated with beauty, balance and harmony. Not a hydrosol made for Libras, but a little nod to that moment of the year when summer begins to soften and one season starts leaning quietly toward the next.
Distilled slowly in small batches in our traditional copper still using three varieties of rose geranium, lemon geranium, lemon verbena and Tulsi.
The Plants
Rose Geranium brings the heart of this distillation, soft, green, rosy and beautifully aromatic. Traditionally loved in skincare for its soothing nature and its ability to support skin that feels a little out of balance.
Lemon Geranium + Lemon Verbena lift everything. Fresh, citrusy and wonderfully bright, they give this hydrosol its almost mouthwatering lemon-green note.
Tulsi · Holy Basil settles underneath it all, warm, herbal and grounding. A beloved plant with a long history of use in botanical traditions, it brings a quiet depth to an otherwise bright and floral distillation.

What is a Hydrosol?
Hydrosols are the aromatic plant waters created during the distillation of fresh botanicals.
They are much gentler than essential oils and carry the water-soluble compounds, delicate aroma and character of the plants themselves, making them beautiful for everyday skin care and simple daily rituals.
Housed in a 118 ml amber glass bottle to help protect the delicate botanical waters from light. Keep somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration makes for an especially lovely summer mist and can help extend freshness.
